Chicago Police Protect Synagogue After Acts of Vandalism

Special police protection has been assigned to the new $600,000 South Shore Temple here after recent acts of vandalism. The action was ordered by Mayor Kennelly. The vandals have made it a practice to throw ink and oil on the building. Sandblasting was needed recently to remove some of the ink stains.
