Download PDF for this date

The Parliamentary Foreign Affairs and Security Committee today held a closed meeting on the recent trial and imprisonment of Zionist and Jewish communal leaders in Rumania. Premier Moshe Sharett attended the session. No communique was issued later on the line of discussion or on any decisions reached by the deputies.

(In Stockholm, the Rumanian Legation today returned without explanation a protest submitted to it by the Zionist Federation of Sweden against the arrest, conviction and imprisonment of Zionist leaders in Rumania. The protest was submitted on June 3.)
