The Israel Government yesterday protested to the United Nations Security Council against Jordanian infiltration and attack at Nevit Halamedhei, in the Jerusalem corridor area, last Monday. The Israelis, boycotting the Mixed Armistice Commission, took the complaint on the incident in which several Israelis were wounded during a five-hour battle, directly to the Security Council.

The six Arab member states of the UN have made formal application to the UN General Assembly to consider publishing in Arabic a portion of the UN documents, particularly those pertaining to the Middle East. The official languages of the UN at this time are English, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese.
