George W. Armstrong, Sr., oil man who once offered to endow a small college if it would agree to teach the doctrine of racial supremacy, died here this week-end at the age of 88. Mr. Armstrong, who denied that he was anti-Semitic, wrote several pamphlets accusing the Jews of attempting to gain financial control of the United States.

He had offered Jefferson Military College land and mineral rights which he estimated to be worth $50, 000, 000 if it would limit its student body to Christians and would teach the principle of Anglo-Saxon superiority. The college first accepted the offer but later, following a national storm of protest, rejected it.
