Dr. Isador Lubin, internationally known economist and statistician, has been named by Governor-elect Averill Harriman to be Industrial Commissioner in the new state administration which takes office in January.
Dr. Lubin was an advisor in the Roosevelt and Truman administrations. He will replace Edward Corsi, Industrial Commissioner in the outgoing Dewey administration. He has been active for many years in the American Jewish Committee and other Jewish organizations.
