Methods of improving administrative handling of claims for compensation by Nazi victims under the current law were discussed at a meeting of attorneys working for the United Restitution Office which was just held in Bad Homburg, Germany, according to a communique issued here today by the URO.
The communique said that the 30 lawyers at the meeting also discussed amendments to improve the German law. It was reported that 100,000 claims have already been filed under the law. Professor Norman Bentwich presided at the Bad Hamburg meeting.
