TEL AVIV (Jan. 24)
Nine-year-old Rosa Rotenstein was reunited with her mother after a separation to eight years when the child arrived from the Soviet Union today.
In 1946 when the family left Russia for Poland and eventually for Israel, the infant was ill and was left with her grandmother in the town of Rechicha, near Rovno, in the Ukraine. When the family reached Israel they began action to have the child sent on after them, but this proved in vain until today. The father was killed in the War of Liberation during an air bombing of the Tel Aviv main bus station.
