A party of 945 immigrants from North Africa arrived in Israel today and were immediately moved out to settlements which had been prepared for them, in line with the Jewish Agency’s new colonization policy. Some 300 were sent to new homes in the Lachish area, on the Judean plateau, and the remainder were sent to border colonies in the north.
