A party of 791 North African Jews arrived at this port last night, bringing to over 1,000 the number who arrived in the past week. Only 33 of these came from any place other than North Africa; they were from Hungary.
Most of the North African immigrants were immediately dispersed among settlements prepared for them in the Negev, Galilee and Judean plains.
