A statement expressing the “fervent and prayerful hope for the speedy and full recovery” of President Eisenhower was sent to the White House today by the American Zionist Council, which represents 750,000 American Zionists.
The Synagogue Council of America, representing all the three sections of the Jewish faith, issued a similar message which prayed that “healing may be vouchsafed to our President and that the Great Healer may bless the skill and effort of all who administer unto him.”
