New moves for the restoration of communal cooperation among Jewish organizations, in the field of foreign affairs were expected here, following the announcement today of a meeting between Barnett Janner, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, and A.N. Carvalho, president of the Anglo-Jewish Association, scheduled for next week.

Various sections of the Anglo-Jewish community were aroused by the multiplicity of approaches to Soviet Premier Nikolai Bulganin and Communist Party chief Nikita Khrushchev during their visit here. At that time, the Board of Deputies, the World Jewish Congress and Agudas Israel all made separate representations to the Soviet leaders on the status of Soviet Jewry.
