A tombstone of Galilee black basalt is being sent to Holland to be placed on the grave of Baruch Spinoza by the Israel Spinozeon Society which is this year marking the tercentenary of the excommunication of the famed philosopher from the Jewish community of the Netherlands. The stone, which will be placed on the grave in The Hague, bears the Hebrew word “amcha,” meaning “your people.”
