A budget of 21, 500, 000 Israeli pounds ($12, 000, 000) for the Jewish year 5717 was adopted here today at a meeting of Keren Kayemeth, the Jewish National Fund.

Dr. Nahum Goldmann, in his capacity as president of the World Zionist Organization, attended his first meeting of the Board as one of its Governors.

The meeting also elected Dr. Abraham Granott, world chairman of the board of Keren Kayemeth, and Joseph Weitz, head of the organization’s afforestation department, to represent the board on a new seven-member group which will be in charge of new developments to be undertaken jointly by Keren Kayemeth and the Israel government.
