B’nai B’rith’s 113th annual meeting last night endorsed five proposals directed at stabilizing peace between Israel and the Arab states. The group called upon the United Nations to do the following:

1. To halt the fedayeen raids and guerrilla warfare practiced against-Israel; 2. To insure secure boundaries for all nations in the Middle East; 3. To insure free passage for ships of all nations, including Israel, thought the Suez Canal; 4. To promote a cooperative plan for improving the economic and social conditions of Middle East countries; 5. To assure “clement and intelligent” handling of the Arab refugee problem.
