ROME (Dec. 27)
An appeal to Italian Jewry for “prompt” action in helping Jews deported from Egypt was issued here today by the United Jewish Communities of Italy.
The appeal called on all Italian Jews to cooperate with Jewish organizations all over the world in the raising of funds needed to help the Jewish refugees from Egypt.
