U.S. Industrialist Signs Contract for Building Rayon Plant in Israel

The signing of contracts for the construction of the first set of buildings of the $24,000,000 rayon plant being erected at Migdal Askelon by Israel Rogosin and his associates was announced last night at a reception given by the American industrialist. Present at the reception was Finance Minister Levi Eshkol, other Cabinet members and leaders of Israel’s industry.

Solel Boneh, the Histadrut construction company, was awarded contracts for the construction of more than half of the main plant area, the first stage in the building of the huge complex. The contract was awarded on the basis of sealed bids.
