Ambassador Abba S. Eban, head of the Israel delegation, today conferred for an hour with Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold. While neither of the conferees would reveal the subject of their discussion, it was understood that Mr. Eban took up with the UN chief the Jordanian attacks against Israelis atop Mt. Scopus and the situation in Lebanon.
