The University of Pittsburgh will offer for the first time this year a course on “The Religion and Culture of the Jews. ” The course, which will be taught by Dr. Aharon Kessler, executive director of the Council on Jewish Education and dean of the College of Jewish Studies, will evaluate the historical development of Judaism and will treat it as a way of life.
