Moshe Sharett, former Foreign Minister and Premier of the State of Israel, will be guest speaker at the three-day biennial conference of the Jewish National Fund of America which will open on November 7 at the Statler Hotel here, Dr. Harris J. Levine, president of the JNF, announced today.
This will mark the first appearance of Mr. Sharett this year in the United States. He will present a discussion of the tasks of the Jewish National Fund in the second decade of Israel’s independence, dealing particularly with the JNF’s large-scale projects of land-development as a preparation for the settlement of tens of thousands of new immigrants. Mendel N.Fisher, executive director of the JNF, declared that representation delegations are awaited from all parts of the country.
