Gov. G. Mennen Williams assured the Detroit Jewish community today that state police will cooperate fully with authorities in suburban Oak Park in a search for the vandals who marred a school building in which Jewish Sunday school classes are held.
The building, which is used by B’nai David Synagogue, was smeared with anti-Semitic obscenities on Saturday night. This was the first openly anti-Semitic incident in Oak Park which has a large Jewish community.
