The remains of Moses Hess, one of the first Jews in the last century to project the idea of a Jewish national home in Palestine, will be exhumed from the Cologne Jewish cemetery and transferred to Israel for reinterment. He presented his idea in a volume entitled “Rome and Jerusalem,” which was published in 1862.
