The presidium of the World Zionist Actions Committee yesterday named a committee to prepare a memorial commemoration for the .late Joseph Sprinzak, who died in office as Speaker of the Knesset.
The committee, which represents all Zionist parties, will call movements and organizations throughout the Jewish world to note the commemoration on the 30th day of his death and to subscribe funds for the planting of a wood in his honor.
The presidium, meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. Nahum Goldmann, named Berl Locker as acting chairman of the Actions Committee until the next Committee meeting in Jerusalem between June 1 and June 10.
