Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel Foreign Minister, arrived here today as the official guest of the Government of Argentina, on the first stop of a Latin American tour. She was met at the airport by Dr. Luis Mackay, Minister of Justice and Education, who is acting Foreign Minister.
Mrs. Meir will be received tomorrow by Minister Mackay and later she will place a wreath of flowers on the Argentine National Hero’s Monument. Later in the day she will be officially received by Parliament. Both the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies will hold special sessions in her honor. The visit has been widely publicized in the general press, which has printed many articles about Mrs. Meir’s life and work.
