The Acting Mayor of Paris, M. Weil, today affixed a memorial plaque on the building here in which Theodor Herzl wrote some of his works which influenced the creation of the Jewish State.
Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Zionist Organization and Israel Ambassador Walter Eytan were among the speakers at the ceremony who recalled the prophetic activity of the founder of modern Zionism and drew a parallel between his work and the task accomplished by Moses, the first great prophet of the Jewish people.
