An entire Jewish family was wiped out by Algerian rebel terrorists last night in a submachine gun attack on a resort hotel where the family was vacationing, it was reported here today. The attack took place on the verandah of the hotel in Ziamma Mansouriah. Among the six victims of the outrage were Gabriel Levi, his wife, and his two children, one 12 and one seven.

In recent weeks, the FLN, the organization of the rebels, has been driven out of its traditional mountain strongholds and members have resumed indiscriminate terrorist attacks. Many Jewish families which in past years would have gone to Europe for their vacations have not done so this year because of threats by the OAS, the French underground in Algeria, to blow up properties of “fleeing” Europeans.
