A group of American investors, including Laurance Rockefeller, brother of New York State Governor Nelson Rockefeller, has acquired a one-third interest in the Elron electronics plant in Haifa, it was learned here today. The Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and a local investment banking firm, share the remaining two-thirds interest in the company. Elron produces electronic devices for medical, industrial and nuclear research purposes.
