Two cancer experts from Israel are among four scientists who have been named for Eleanor Roosevelt International Cancer Fellowships, it was announced today by the International Union Against Cancer. These fellowships are made possible by funds provided by the Eleanor Roosevelt Cancer Foundation, Inc., affiliated with the American Cancer Society.
The two Israeli scientists are: Dr. Nathan Trainin, who will work for one year at the National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, under Dr. L. W. Law; and Dr. Jacob Menczel who is to work for ten months at the Hines Veterans Administration Hospital, Hines, under Dr. Herta Spencer.
