Jewish Expert Named Consultant to U.S. Missions in Latin America

Jack D. Gordon, president of Washington Federal Savings and Loan Association, has been named by the United States Department of State as a home financing consultant for State Department missions in Latin America.

He has carried out missions for the State Department in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Ethiopia. He has helped those countries set up national savings and loan programs to expand home ownership. He was invited last September by the United Nations to attend a UN seminar on Latin American housing which was held in Copenhagen.
