A mass meeting of Hungarian Jews, held here tonight, appealed to the Hungarian Government to permit Jews to emigrate for purposes of family reunification.

The meeting requested Mrs. Golda Meir, Israel’s Foreign Minister, to undertake diplomatic negotiations looking toward permission for Hungarian Jews to emigrate to Israel. It called upon Jews throughout the world “to raise their voices to implore the Hungarian Government to allow the reunion of families.”
