A memorial structure to be erected by the Polish Government at the site of the Auschwitz concentration camp, which will contain individual halls memorializing the victims of the various nationalities who perished at the most notorious of the Nazi death camps, will have no special section devoted to Jewish victims, it was reported here today from Warsaw.
The memory of Polish Jews who perished at Auschwitz will be enshrined in the Polish hall, Jews of other nationalities who were done to death at Auschwitz will presumably be enshrined in the halls of their respective countries of origin–unless their is a last-minute reconsideration by the planners of the edifice.
