Canadian Synagogue Starts Drive for Funds to Aid Alabama Negroes

Milton Cadsby, Toronto attorney who is chairman of the Social Action Committee of Holy Blossom Temple (Reform) announced today that his committee will start a fund-raising campaign to assist the Rev. Martin Luther King in Birmingham, Alabama. The support was conditional upon the Negroes not resorting to violence and mob action. Mr. Cadsby called on other synagogues, churches, and service organizations to cooperate in the effort.
