The burial took place here today of Mitchell Gandal, a pioneer Zionist who was active in Zionist Organization and Jewish National Fund circles in Cleveland for more than half a century. He died Sunday morning in Baltimore at the age of 84.
Surviving him are a son, Henry, of Cleveland; four daughters, Mrs. Philip Slomovitz, Detroit; Mrs. Israel M. Goldman, Baltimore; Mrs. Yosef Schub, Chicago; Mrs. Col Wezelman, Bismarck, N.D.; and 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
