Two Jewish Girls from Soviet Russia Win Olympics Gold Medals

Two of the gold medals won to date in the Olympics by Russian athletes went to Jewish sisters, Tamara and Irena Press. Tamara won the women’s 90-meter hurdles. Her sister won in the pentathlon last week.
