The Rabbinical Assembly of America, the organization of rabbis of the Conservative movement, has accepted an invitation for membership in the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. The rabbinical group will be represented by its president, Rabbi Max J. Routtenberg of Rockville Center, N. Y.

The Conference of Presidents, which now has a membership of 20 of the leading rational Jewish organizations in the United States, was originally founded to act on matters relating to American-Israeli relations, but has since widened its scope to include on its agenda all matters of vital Jewish interest abroad.
