David O. Selznick, one of the leading producers in the motion picture industry, died here yesterday at the age of 63. Born the son of a Jewish immigrant from Russia, Mr. Selznick produced some of Hollywood’s major films including “Gone With the Wind,” the industry’s biggest money-maker.
