President Zalman Shazar today extended an invitation to A.R. Malachi, American Hebrew and Yiddish writer, to come to Israel with Mrs. Malachi on an official state visit. Mr. Malachi, who was born in Jerusalem, is known for his work on the history of the Holy Land and on Hebrew and Yiddish literature from the time of the enlightenment.
