A monument to 1,000 Jews from the Yugoslavian town of Oshek, who were deported to death camps by the Nazi regime, was erected in that town, according to a dispatch received here today from Belgrade. The monument is in the form of a marble sculpture done by a well-known Jewish artist, Oscar Nemon.
