African Students in Israel Attack British Embassy; Checked by Police

About 150 African students threw rocks, tomatoes, eggs, and other missiles at the British Embassy here today smashing out nearly all window panes of the four story building and splattering the Embassy area with debris.

The mob also tore down the British flag from in front of the building and burned it in protest against the policy of Britain in Rhodesia. Tel Aviv mounted police reinforced foot patrolmen in grappling with the enraged Africans. Two students and two policemen were injured.
