Dr. Lotz Braunschweig, president of the German Society for Friendship with Israel, announced today that the Society will try to improve the climate between Germany and Israel. It is intended especially to support and promote the selling of Israel bonds in Germany.
A traveling exhibit of graphic art by 16 Israeli artists was opened in Kassel today in the presence of Israel Ambassador Asher Ben-Nathan and Dr. Georg A. Zinn, Premier of the province of Hesse. The exhibition, comprising 140 drawings and paintings, will also be held in Heidelberg, Wiesbaden and Wuppertal.
