The two Jewish schools here, Yavneh and Tarbut, celebrated their respective quarter-century anniversaries here today. Both were founded in 1914. Yavneh, which is a religious school, is headed by Zelik Shifmanovich, as director. The director of Tarbut, which is Zionist and emphasizes Hebrew studies, is Jacob Blumer.
