Five thousand copies of Adolf Hitler’s “Mein Kampf,” in a Danish translation, have been printed in Denmark and are reportedly now being distributed in that country, the West German Foreign Ministry said here today. Bonn’s Ambassador to Copenhagen had tried and failed to persuade the Danish authorities to halt distribution of the Hitler book, on the grounds that Danish publication of the book violated German ownership of the copyright, it was emphasized in the report issued by the Foreign Ministry here.
