Amateur Athletic Union Elects Jew As President for First Time

David A. Matlin, Los Angeles attorney and member of the National Jewish Welfare Board’s National Health and Physical Education Committee, was elected president of the Amateur Athletic Union of the United States. He is the first Jew to head this major amateur sports body.
