Rabbi Friedman Leaves for Israel to Discuss Projects of U.j.a.-israel Education Fund

Rabbi Herbert A. Friedman, executive vice-chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, left here today for Israel for important consultations with top officials in the Government and the Jewish Agency regarding projects of the UJA-Israel Education Fund.

Rabbi Friedman will review the progress of the IEF and future plans with Finance Minister Pinhas Sapir, Education Minister Zalman Aranne and Aryeh L. Pincus, chairman and treasurer of the Jewish Agency. Additionally, while in Israel, Rabbi Friedman will hold discussions with Prime Minister Levi Eshkol and Foreign Minister Abba Eban.
