Egypt has indicated no desire to secure the repatriation of the 5,000 Egyptian prisoners of war now in Israeli hands, Gen. Chaim Herzog, the Kol Israel military commentator, reported today. Among the prisoners are four generals.
He said that Nasser did not want the prisoners back because they knew the truth about the Egyptian military debacle which Nasser has attempted to conceal from his people and would spread the information.
