Resolutions expressing concern over the fate of the Jews in Arab countries and condemning discrimination against the Jews in the Soviet Union were adopted today by the national convention of the Federation of Argentine Jewish Communities. The convention, attended by delegations from the Jewish communities in most Argentine cities, was held in La Plata City to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Jewish community there.
The convention also adopted a resolution deploring the death, in Prague, under mysterious circumstances of Charles H. Jordan, executive vice-chairman of the Joint Distribution Committee.
Working sessions under the chairmanship of Dr. Tobias Kamenszain, president of the organization, discussed educational and religious problems of the community and other domestic issues.
