Israel Government Offers Loans to East Jerusalem Residents for War Damages

The Government announced today a program of loans of up to $3,000 to East Jerusalem residents for repair of homes damaged in the June war. So far 130 applications have been made. The loans carry a nine percent interest charge for a six-year term, very favorable for Israel.
