Egypt’s military power has been restored to 85 percent of its former strength through Soviet infusions of new supplies and equipment, according to an article by Roger Massip in Figaro today. Military experts believe that Russia will soon supply Egypt with the MIG-23, a brand new warplane which up to now has been manufactured only in small quantities, and is found exclusively in the Soviet air force, the article said.
