Seventy non-Jewish students angrily walked out of Peabody High School here today because they were not excused on Jewish holidays. The protesters charged that Jewish students were treated with favoritism by school authorities. They said that Jews were excused for both Jewish and Christian holidays. Disorders erupted causing the arrest of seven youths. They were charged by police with truancy and loitering. The accused were turned over to a juvenile court and were released to the custody of their parents.
