An Israeli patrol intercepted and captured a band of eight Arab saboteurs from Jordan in a brief exchange of fire about 12 miles north of Jericho today, a military spokesman announced. Two of the saboteurs were wounded but there were no Israeli casualties. The patrol also seized a large quantity of firearms, bazooka shells and shell casings used to make self firing devices. Demolition charges and high explosives were also found on the captured men. They told interrogators later that they came from Karameh, the commando base in Jordan, and belonged to the Palestinian Popular Liberation Front.
