Colin Jordan, leader of the British Nazi movement, was badly beaten up in Birmingham by 30 men while he was distributing leaflets on a street. One arrest was made Jordan, though bloodied by punches and kicks, refused hospital treatment and returned to his hotel for a meeting to discuss the formation of a new nationalist political party.
